(Let me make it clear, I was not one of these guys,,,, I just did Mess Kit Repair on my deployments.)
This is more like what I did....

1. Write more anyway.
2. That may be a by product of the woes of the 18B training cadre. As detailed by Jack Murphy @ Reflexive Fire.
3. Normal USMC conversations.
4. A laff since I'm not downrange from the tiger pit.

Finger pointing can devastating sometimes. Don't count it out...unless you are in a gunfight.
Yeah, right...LOL
Yesss!! It makes me laugh that you posted this video. I graduated from WLC at Stewart last month, and one of the SGLs played it in class. It was a big hit, so I got to hear my squad quote it for the next three weeks...
WLC is educational. You learn all kinds of helpful ways to mentor junior soldiers.
One of the units I was in a few years ago...showing a video like this to the wrong whinners would have caused a big complaint. "Oh my gosh, that's such bad language. "
I'm happy to hear that they are using training videos like this in WLC (AKA- PLDC, AKA-New NCO School)
Well, salty language is technically not allowed at WLC. On paper. In reality, I learned a lot of useful new phrases. I've always been in completely Mess-Kit type units. Sometimes being around combat arms soldiers is a little bit of a culture shock, but in an awesome way. It's refreshing to be able to speak my mind.
Sak,
I encouraged my soldiers to speak up. They could disagree with me, but they had better been able to prove me wrong. If they knew what they were doing, I'd make sure they knew my standards- then let them do their jobs.
I didn't have any retards, a few drunks and stuff like that.
